How to Measure a Gable Box

Gable boxes are measured by their usable space (the rectangular bottom portion), not including the handle gable top.

  • Length:Left to right measurement of the box opening.
  • Width:Front to back measurement (depth).
  • Height:Bottom of the box to the score line where the gable taper begins (not to the top of the handle).
Clearance Tip: Ensure your product height is at least 0.5" - 1" shorter than the box Height dimension to allow the gable to close without crushing the contents.
